I’m an IT consultant and a family man.
I don’t have a house, I have a home. I don’t have a sports car, I have a family car. My social life has dwindled, my parenting life has grown. I am not a trend setter for others to follow suit, I am a role model for my son to emulate.

The website/blog was first hosted at Blogger (http://pjbacolod.blogspot.com) back in 2004, when I was: 25 pounds lighter, had no shades of gray on my hair, owned a fast car, but pretty much led a relatively lonely and miserable life – until I met my wife, Conne.
A lot of things have changed since then. I now have love handles, sport a salt and pepper hair look, own a family minivan, but now thankfully, pretty much lead a wonderful, God-centered, content life – and Conne and I have been blessed with a son, Carl Jansen (CJ)!
Change was inevitable on the blogging side of things as well. I’ve discovered the power of Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal and so, by December of 2007, I finally decided to buy my own domain name and build and host my own site. And thus came about PJBacolod.com.
